Doris has been painting professionally, part time, for over 25 years. She started out as a Tole Painter and progressed to oils, mixed media and portraits. She has participated in many of the Crosby Gardens juried shows in Toledo, Ohio and has been a long time member with the Toledo Craftsmans Guild. In addition Doris has taught numerous classes in oils and mixed media. She exhibits her ornaments in many shows around the Ohio and Michigan area. Doris at a show. She currently paints custom murals and furniture on demand but her specialty is the hand-poured porcelain snowflake ornaments where she can display her unique designs.
